The village of Munlochy has a pub and local shop all within easy walking distance of the cottage. There are many local attractions and activities including dolphin cruises on the Moray Firth from Avoch which is a 10 minute drive from the cottage, pony trekking and The Black Isle Wildlife Park which is nearby offers a great day out with the local and not so local animals.
There are also several golf courses nearby including Fortrose and several in Inverness itself.
Loch Ness is only a short drive if you want to explore it's beauty and mystery. Who knows you might even catch a glimpse of the famous monster
